Two people confirmed dead, 1 person badly wounded in Lagos helicopter crash

A yet-to-be-identified helicopter has crashed in the Opebi area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the copter dropped from the sky around 12 noon at the Salvation Bus Stop in Opebi.

In a tweet by the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State governmen Mr Gboyega Akosile that goes thus:There’s been a helicopter crash in a private house at Opebi area of Lagos. Two people confirmed dead, 1 person badly wounded and has been taken to the hospital. The dead bodies have been deposited at the mortuary.

Alos,Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident to our correspondent in a telephone conversation.

“Yes, it just happened. The helicopter crashed in Opebi around 12pm. LASEMA operatives are on our way to the incident site. I’ll give you more updates,” he said.
