Former Petroleum .And Education Minister Professor Jubril Aminu Is Dead

The nation is in mourning following the passing of Professor Jibril Aminu, a trailblazing intellectual, statesman, and former Minister of Education and Petroleum Resources.

As a testament to his enduring legacy, Professor Aminu’s contributions to Nigeria’s development will forever be etched in the annals of history.

During his tenure as Minister of Petroleum Resources, Professor Aminu oversaw the construction of the Eleme Refinery and numerous petroleum depots across the country, a feat that has yet to be replicated.

His visionary leadership also led to the decentralization and reform of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), a move that aimed to enhance efficiency and transparency.
