According to officials, at least 600 prisoners broke out of a jail in Nigeria's capital on Wednesday. They blamed Islamic extremist insurgents for the raid. Authorities reported that about 300 have been found.   According to Shuaib Belgore, permanent secretary of the Nigerian Ministry of Interior, the "extremely determined" insurgents stormed the Kuje maximum jail in Abuja on Tuesday night with "very high-grade explosives," killing one guard who was on duty. Around 10 p.m., gunfire and explosions were heard in Abuja's Kuje neighborhood as the assailants arrived and made their way inside the prison through a hole the explosives had created. The country's northeast has been the scene of an uprising by the Islamic extremist rebels who attacked the prison.  "We understand they are Boko Haram.
