Igho Ubiribo’s Death: He Had Five Penile Enlargement Sessions

More revelations have emerged about the penile enlargement medication and procedure that led to the death of Nigerian-British born social media celebrity Igho Ubiribo.
Revelations from investigation carried out by authorities in Thailand show that Igho had five penile enlargement operations at a Bangkok clinic.
The Clinic where the procedures were carried out told investigators that Igho began the penile enlargement medication and procedure in 2024 and had undergone 4 processes before the fatal final process.
The Clinic told investigators that Igho was advised that the procedure should be done over two sessions but he insisted on a single session.
The new Investigation into his death was ordered by Thailand’s Minister of Public Health, Pattana Promphat, through the Department of Health Service Support and the Food and Drug Administration.
It came following the British Coroner’s Verdict which attributed his death in March 2026 to complications Arising from the penile enlargement medication and procedure which were carried out in Thailand.
The Statement Released in Bangkok on Tuesday September 8,2026:
The clinic’s management provided information stating that the patient had been a regular patient since 2024. The patient had received five injections to enlarge the male genitalia.
The doctor recommended dividing the injection into two sessions, but the patient preferred a single injection.
The clinic provided post-operative care instructions and followed up with the patient, who did not report any problems with the procedure. Furthermore, the patient signed consent forms before each procedure.
The investigation revealed that on March 5, 2026, the emergency medical services centre received a request for an ambulance from a private hospital in the Sukhumvit area to transport a patient who had lost consciousness.
The patient’s wife informed the medical team that the patient had recently received a filler injection the same day and had gone for a massage afterwards. Due to suspicions of a blood clot, the hospital prepared to perform a high-speed CT scan with contrast dye to diagnose the condition.
To create a three-dimensional image of the blood vessels (Computed Tomography Angiography), during which time the patient was unconscious and had no pulse, the medical team began CPR, but there was no response, confirming the patient’s death.
This initial information led to an investigation of the clinic located on Rama 1 Road, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, on September 7.
We will gather all facts and evidence to proceed according to our authority and submit the case to the Medical Council for a ruling on professional practice standards, in order to ensure fairness to all parties.
The authorities have not announced a finding of malpractice against the clinic.
The team Lead for the investigation Director-General of the DHSS, Phuwadej Surakhot, said the professional-practice aspect of the case would be referred to Thailand’s Medical Council at the conclusion of investigation.
