Caleb Olubolade, former Bayelsa State Military Administrator is Dead.

…He slumped while playing Long Tennis

Navy Captain Omoniyi Caleb Olubolade (rtd), a former military administrator of Bayelsa State is dead.

Family sources said he slumped while playing lawn tennis on Sunday May 11 in the Apapa area of Lagos and was confirmed dead after all attempts to resuscitate him failed . He was 70.

Olubolade also served as Minister of Special Duties, Minister of State, FCT and Minister of Police Affairs.

According to a statement by his children , Mrs. Oluwayemisi Akinadewo and Mr. Dayo Olubolade “He drove himself to the facility to play lawn tennis in the evening and slumped while playing. Efforts were made by medical officers around to revive him to no avail.

He was immediately rushed to Obisesan Naval Medical Hospital, Apapa where he was pronounced dead”.
