Edifying music display laced with prophetic utterances were in surplus display for the 3 day duration of the Arena of Thanks, Miracle International Church of God Ministries (MICOG) 2020 edition of its annual Revival program.
The program commenced on Monday last week with the General Overseer of the church, Rev’ Femi Adepoju delivering an introductory sermon with the revival theme: Breaking The Chains Around My Glory.
Also at the opening session, the Church’s Resident Pastor, Prophet Aduragbemi Oke and Assistant Pastor,(Youth) Adediree Marquis took turns to minister to guests in prayer even as Gospel cum inspirational Star, Busola Oke a.k.a Eleyele being the star of the evening minister in song. The content of her latest effort, Revivalist (Onisoji) was lavishly rendered as thunderous applause greeted every minute of her performance.
On Tuesday, The trio of Rev’ Adepoju, Pastor Aduragbemi Oke and Prophet Wale Atunbi held sway with Prophetess Ekundayo Bamgbose, Bukola Olowolafe and Adeola Olalekan Taiwo also Ministering. Chant praise star, Omotola Apata was the cynosure of all eyes on the evening as he electrified the revival ground with his praise in Chant, thus paving the way for the angelic visitation which was so evident at the event.
While the Opening day and Tuesday editions of the event held between 6 and 10 Pm respectively, the final day edition which was an all -night affair paraded array of annointed Ministers of God both in word and songs.
With Prophet Segun Imoukhuede and Prophet Obasanjo Adeoye as major anchors of the final day session, the floodgate for uncontrollable worship dance and outpouring of the holy spirit was opened for the music ministers on ground led by Prophetess Atinuke Obanla.
The music session started with young and inspiring gospel singers Segun Royal, Damilare Okuyera while highly prophetic singers, Adegoke Adedotun aka Observers with powerful worshipers, Segun Ogooluwa and Imole Imisi taking turns to dish out their stuffs.
Ibadan based popular singer, Atinuke Obanla who took the floor to thrill worshippers to scintillating dance steps with soul searching gospel tunes held the crowd spell bound till dawn.
In his sermon, Rev’ Adepoju urged Children of God who want the chain around their glory broken to thirst for holiness and righteousness.
Anchoring his message on 2nd King chapter 2, the Arena Of Thanks’ Set Man insist that, until Children of God begin to seek Jesus Christ with the same zeal, faith,commitment and determination adopted by Prophet Elisha to get the double portion of his master, Prophet Elijah while being taken away to heaven, they should not expect the chain around their glory to break easily. He admonished worshippers to see sin as a major hindrance to glory manifestation and should therefore run away from it so that they can begin to live the kingdom life on earth before transiting to reign with Christ above.
The revival witnessed sundry testimonies,confessions, revelations and instructions for worshippers present.
