Yes!!! Femi Otedola for Governor. Despite denials trailing his being linked to the seat of the Lagos State governor, all indicators point to the fact that billionaire businessman Femi Otedola is actually eyeing the hot seat, albeit in 2023
After Femi, ex-governor  of Lagos State, Sir Michael Otedola’s billionaire son released a video depicting him in a molue ride from Sango to Agege, suspicions were rife that he was up to some ambitions. Then denials set in. However, those who are close to the businessman claimed that if there’s anything he so desires now,   it is to be the governor of Lagos and he’s presently doing everything within his power to achieve this aim come 2023.
Already, the body movements from his family members are fueling the suspicions the more.  In one of the social media posts, a senior member of the family recently referred to him as the governor in waiting, while in another post the same family member said to be a confidant of the oil magnate posted:  “Behold the next governor of Lagos State come 2023.”
The post attracted so many comments from the public and one of the commentators said he would not like him to go into murky waters of politics at least for now for which the senior Otedola who released the poser said it was too late to turn back because he’s neck deep into the project.  When another commentator said he would cast his vote for him only if he’s contesting under a certain political party, the senior Otedola replied that he is  going to contest under PDP. 
Before now , Femi Otedola told one of his close friends that when he’s ready, he would be in government house sitting as a governor before anybody knows what has happened.
What is still baffling a top politician is the reason he is denying the obvious.  The politician said: “We all know that he can’t contest  against Ambode  in 2019 but he should have stated that he’s in for the contest in 2023.”
