The issue of fuel scarcity has become a typical one on the lips of a lot of Nigerians in recent months and the matter got to a head in the last week of April creating untold hardship for the general populace. While the general public are paying through their nose just to have some litres of the “golden” commodity in order for them not to get stranded, others are taking advantage of the situation to create confusion and provide an avenue to make quick money through illegal sales of petrol at ridiculous prices, popularly known as black market.
