Online images of the former transportation minister Rotimi Amaechi on vacation have been discovered.
In photos discovered on Facebook, the former governor of Rivers State could be seen enjoying fun on a boat.
Amaechi lost the All Progressives Congress presidential primary a few days prior to this.
In the contest for the party’s presidential nomination, Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the ruling party, had defeated Amaechi.
Amaechi’s bid to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari at the end of his term was unsuccessful as he finished second in the APC’s presidential primary.
President Buhari did not renominate the former minister for his position after he lost the party’s nomination because he proposed fresh candidates to fill the open positions.
