Airtel Nigeria sends me the message below:
“Goool club has been successfully renewed at NGN 50. Valid until 30-05-2016! To unscuscribe send STOP GOAL to 55357”
I did not subscrite to any coool club in any way, nor can I be tricked into mistakingly subscribing. They fraudulently keep charging me NGN 50.00 every week when I am not interested in this product.
I have carried out their instruction on how to stop these charges but it does not work. I went to their office in Umuahia and complained yet they did not stop it. As a software specialist I know that they designed the that software to be deceitful. It starts deducting your money and refuses to accept any stop instruction.
I may not be alone in this mess. This mess runs to million of naira when they push it to the subscribers in their data base.
I am one of their loyal customers of many years standing and should not be treated as such. Please help me to tell them to stop these charges on my line, 08023233109, a post paid line. Thank you.
