Hon. Funminiyi Afuye, speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, is dead.
Gathered that Afuye died at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Wednesday.
He died of cardiac arrest.
It was learnt that Afuye was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of Wednesday.
Afuye attended the inauguration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, on Sunday and was said to have also attended plenary on Tuesday before the sudden turn of events on Wednesday.
