This is not a good news for the entire music industry as popular presenter, Dan Foster dies of COVID-19.

Learnt that the Nigerian-American broadcaster and former Idol series judge died as a result of complications associated with the novel coronavirus disease.

Confirming the report of his demise, popular Nigerian OAP, Dotun  took to his Twitter page moments ago to mourn the death of the broadcaster.

Ace Present, Frank Edoho of ”Who Wants to be a Millionaire” also took to his Twitter handle to mourn Dan Foster. He tweeted, ”I just got off the phone, my friend Oscar confirmed that Dan Foster has passed on. This is a very very dark year. How can I overcome this unending melancholy. Rest in Peace, dear Friend.”

Dan Foster, popularly called ‘The Big Dawg, was a Nigerian broadcaster and On-Air personality with many years of experience.

Before relocating back to Nigeria, he worked with numerous radio stations in the United States of America.

He joined Cool FM in 2000 where he stayed till 2009. He went on to join Inspiration FM and later City FM.

He became popular in the country for his role as one of the judges on Idols West Africa series alongside Dede Mabiaku and Ghanaian Abrewa Nana in 2007.

He later became a judge at the music talent reality TV show Nigeria’s Got Talent alongside actress Kate Henshaw and comedian Yibo Koko.

Left to mourn him is a wife and three children.
