Fuji music legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1, has described female musician, Barrymade as a spoilt child who lacks good home training.

K1, while reacting to a claim by Barrymade that he was the late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister’s laundry man, said it is an uncouth statement from a child who is morally decayed.

In a Yoruba video interview with the BBC, K1 explained that “if Barrymade said I was her father’s laundry man, I will ask; is it Nuru (her biological father) or Sikiru (Barrister)? K1 opined that even if he was truly the late music icon’s laundry man, it is not in the place of Barrymade to say it publicly.

“If I was Barrister’s laundry man, it means I was loyal to my leader. No musician alive today can claim to be more intimate to the late Sikiru Barrister than me. Even Alhaji Ayinla Kollington can’t make such claims because people know them more as enemies than friends. I was like a good son to Ayinde Barrister,” K1 reiterated.
