Nollywood diva, Halima Abubakar is currently in love and this is authoritative. This was made known to Gist Ville during an interactive session with the beau recently. “I am in a relationship at the moment with a guy and everything is working well,” she said. Who could be the lucky man then? The actress said she would like to keep that close to her chest, at least for now. “I don’t want to unravel that now. Most relationships I have uncovered in the past didn’t last long before they hit the wall. Please, let this one be,” she pleaded. On her kind of man, Halima would never hide the fact from whoever cares to listen that she detests flashy men. According to her, a god-fearing, intelligent, caring and loving man is her ideal man, though she claimed that is simply what God has given to her in the person of the new-found dude. “Beauty is a gift, no doubt. And when we say Halima Abubakar, the sexy Nollywood diva has got it in abundance; we are not exaggerating but saying the factual. No wonder, then, she has been the topic of discussion of the male folk. Even as her romance story is being told, many covetous men would still be after her,” a source close to her said. The sexy actress who has weathered lots of controversies in the past disclosed that many scandalous reports about the lives of Nollywood actors and actresses have squandered lots of relationships that were tipped to stand the test of time. “Journalists are the ones that will write it that this person is single, she has been abandoned and so on. When you continue to write malicious stories about someone, how would men come for her hand in marriage? Of course, everyone would want to dissociate themselves from such person.” In her case, she argued that she has been misunderstood in the past to the extent that many untrue things had been celebrated about her in the media than the good ones she has done. “I have done many good things as an actress. I have acted many good scripts. If I am not good at what I am doing, please send me away. I am also into charity work in which I have spent millions of naira for the less privileged from my personal account. Nobody has seen that,” she stated. As one of Nollywood’s finest, the down-to-earth Kogi-born actress promises to continue putting smiles on the faces of her teeming fans as she continues on her journey to marital life and career.

  1. What a negative role model for young ones from her part of the world! She would only be in love with a lowlife like herself. Rubbish!

  2. if she is a muslim what about it.what has religion got to do with what is love doing.do islam forbid her profession?

    1. i dont know why people like making something out of nothing!i’m sure kulthum asked whether she is a muslim because of the way she dressed. in islam, a matured muslim woman must cover herself not show her assets

    2. Your statement here sounds ignorant, you surely know why the aboved named person asked whether she was a muslim.dumbass
